ID is recruiting an interim co-director with leadership experience to be part of setting the course for the organisation’s future.
The co-director leads on organisational work for this small, busy NPO, sharing responsibility for leadership with the other co-director, Henrietta Hale. The post holder ensures that ID operates in an exemplary way to fulfil the artistic vision, maintain operational and financial viability, deliver public benefit and achieve high governance standards. The co-directors jointly hold the vision and role of ID within the wider artistic, social and cultural context.
This is a 2-year fixed term role (with the potential to extend), pro rata 4 days per week and starting in March 2020 until the end of February 2022.
This is an important moment in ID’s development as the UK undergoes wider shifts across society, which impact independent artists, audiences and organisations. Building on its current strengths and ambitions, ID will develop its model to evolve alongside these changes. We are looking for strong candidates who can balance delivery, creative planning and strategic thinking.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to apply and develop their skills in an exciting, creative and dynamic organisation.
