The Gill Clarke Bursary scheme exists to support students to undertake MA/MFA Creative Practice: Dance Professional pathway which Independent Dance leads on, in partnership with Siobhan Davies Studios and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
These substantial bursaries are generously funded by The Leverhulme Trust and are named in memory of former co-director of ID, Gill Clarke, who created the MA course.
There is a total of £25,000 available which works out as three to five bursaries of between 2k-7k each. The bursary application is short and we aim to keep it as straightforward as possible.
This is the last year we are certain to be able to offer these bursaries. We are fundraising for further rounds but cannot promise more funds will come through.
All UK-based and international students who have been accepted onto the course are eligible and welcome to apply.
