BIDE (Barcelona International Dance Exchange) provides a platform for networking and exchange for professional dancers, choreographers and performers. This unique event offers a space to meet and work together to find new inspirations and collaborations for artistic work. The focus of BIDE is on performing, researching and teaching. BIDE offers a laboratory structure that supports creative work to happen, gives a possibility for finding future collaborations and share information in a non-hierarchic way. BIDE aims to support the sharing of information and experience as well as the methods to do so – thus, we emphasize a curious attitude towards working in laboratories and finding ways to develop such collaboration structures. The next BIDE takes place in Ponderosa Germany 26 June – 1 July 2011.
