About these sessions
These choreographic feedback studio sessions are open to anyone to show work up to a maximum of 25 minutes. There is no restriction to the style of work that is shown, you decide on the day who will show first, and the 'audience' sit anywhere within the space according to your needs. From snippets of material you are investigating through to previewing a piece soon to be performed, these sessions are yours to be used in the most useful and appropriate way.
So that you gain feedback within a safe, supportive environment, you invite the audience you wish to share your work with and ID can extend the invitation to our regular participants if you so choose. There is a maximum of three groups per session to give time for feedback between each showing and places to show work are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sessions are programmed in response to demand with ID covering the cost of the space and providing refreshments for the evening. If you would like a facilitator to 'lead' the feedback process, ID can also cover the costs, either bringing in someone who artists have suggested or, if needed, suggesting artists they feel would be appropriate.
