ID’s programme seeks to foster an approach to professional development which focuses on increasing depth of knowledge. Dance artists, both as teachers and participants, are able to refine and review their knowledge – interrogating what they already know as well as seeking to broaden their palette through exploration of new ideas and approaches.
ID’s activities programme includes
- Worshops and Intensives
- MA Creative Practice: Dance Professional Practice Pathway
- WinLab (Winter Laboratory)
- BBC PAF Fellowship
- Re:Imagine India
- Critical Pathways
- PAF London
- Turn Your F^*kind Head documentary
- WHAT festival
The aim to our activities programme is to create a ‘laboratory’ environment with approaches to teaching and learning which stress the sharing of practice over the imparting of skills. ID aims to provide a supportive environment for this process and a focal point for coherent in-depth movement research.
