Fernanda’s class combines dance and Yoga, using sequences of Vinyasa Flow with attention to the breath and alignment, moving through poses focusing on the transitions and the flow of the body in movement.
It is an energetic and dynamic class, based around a theme that will be explored throughout the class. Options are always offered, some modifications of the poses to encourage the students to approach their practice in a way that is best suited for their own bodies.
It is a great class to build stamina, strength, mobility and at the same time quieten and centering the mind giving an opportunity to cultivate mindfulness and greater well being.
Carolyn will focus on using perception to develop spatial and environmental awareness. Observing our relationship to the external world and our own internal landscape, we will explore the way that information gathered through the senses informs movement and helps us to detect, interpret and navigate the space around us.
