Volunteers Needed for Platform

ID is looking for volunteers for their annual Graduate Platform on Saturday 10th July at Siobhan Davies Studios, SE1 6ER. Graduate Platform is an evening performance
of works by graduates from various higher education institutions in the UK, nominated by members of their choreographic staff. There will be spacing rehearsals on Friday evening and during the day on Saturday, with the performance starting at 7:30pm. We are looking for the following roles:
1 x stage management helper to be available on Friday evening from 6-10pm and Saturday from 1-10pm. You will need to be present at the spacing rehearsals to be familiar with either lighting/sound/prop cues, and to help ID staff set up or clear the stage between performances.
1 x filming volunteer to be available on Saturday from 5-10pm. You would ideally have some experience of handling a camera and can film the duration of the performance for us – from approx. 7:30pm to 9:30pm, as well as watching a run-through from 5:30pm.
1 x front-of-house usher to be available on Saturday from 6-10pm. You will be helping ID staff out with either serving refreshments at the bar, or helping guests sign-in and handing out programmes.
We will offer you something in return – a free ID class (if you’re a /graduate/professional) or a talk/performance, and you will have the opportunity to watch all the work being performed on the evening and joining the artists
and VIP guests for refreshments afterwards. Guests invited to this event include NDA directors, theatre venue promoters and professional choreographers and artists so you may get a chance to do some networking.
