Independent Dance Forum

ID believes in facilitating debate and exchange of ideas as widely as possible. Independent dance artists often work on short sporadic contracts or keep several jobs going simultaneously on a freelance basis and as such are easily isolated, their own professional practice fragmented, little time to spend browsing for recent wiritngs and keeping engaged in debates.

Our aim with the ID forum is to relieve that isolation, and draw together reflections and writings from ID activity and beyond, thereby providing a focus for an interdependent international community of dance practitioners, enabling them to engage with and contribute to ongoing dialogue and exchange with fellow artists.
